Activities
As registered carers we aim to give a high level of one-to-one attention and ensure that the best advantage can be gained by activities which the children take part in.
Observations of all children in our care take place to enable us to contribute to each child’s development in a way suitable to the individual’s current stage of development.
Each activity contributes towards the Early Years Foundation Stage
Creative:- Paper, Card, Colouring, Painting, Stencils, Plaster of Paris (moulds) Playdough, Sewing
Cooking:- Biscuits and cakes
Gardening:- Growing things from seed
Toys:- Group games, chess, draughts, dolls, cars. , soft toys, lego and many more
Music:- Electronic keyboard, Guitar, Karaoke, cd and cassette player.lots of musical instruments
Puzzles:- Quizzes, word search, dot to dot, matching shapes.
Computer:- Interactive games, research, story telling (Supervised access only)
Books:- We have books for a variety of ages
Outdoors:- Small child’s slide, swing, cosy coupe car, skipping, picnics, tennis, badminton, cricket, football
